Affinity Designer

Affinity Designer is a vector illustration package made by Serif. It is an alternative to Adobe Illustrator. It has all the vector tools you would expect from a professional illustration package, and natively supports SVG's as well as a range of other pixel formats.

I prefer it over Adobe illustrator mostly because of cost, as it is a one off payment rather than a monthly subscription.
